• Urethritis - dysuria, purulent urethral discharge
  • Cervicitis - vaginitis, dysuria, post-coital bleeding (cervical friability)
  • Disseminated gonococcal infection - fever, malaise, skin lesions, joint involvement/tenosynovitis

Ceftriazone 250 mg IM x1 (anti-gonococcal) + azithromycin 1g PO x1 (anti-chlamydial)
Chlamydia Non-gonococcal urethritis/epididymitis, mucopurulent cervicitis 7-14 d   azithromycin 1g PO x1 OR doxy 100 mg BID x 7d
         
  • Refer sexual partners for treatment; avoid sex until therapy completed + asymptomatic
