Thyroid anatomy - Netter's

  1. Divide platysma and create flaps
  2. Identify strap muscles = infrahyoid muscles = sternohyoid, sternothyroid, thyrohyoid, omohyoid
    1. Strap muscles
  3. Other structures - ansa cervicalis, inferior thyroid artery, vagus nerve, recurrent laryngeal
